PayPal Buyer Protection is designed to protect you while shopping on eBay.com.au. From 17 June all items listed on eBay.com.au will offer PayPal and buyer protection will increase to up to AU$20,000.
A small number of exclusions will apply to these changes. |
From 17 June if you do not have a PayPal account you can pay for your purchases with Visa or Mastercard and your transaction can also be covered up to $20,000 with PayPal Buyer Protection.

When buying a car at auction on eBay, check that it is covered by eBay’s free Vehicle Purchase Protection – it can provide up to $20,000 of coverage if something goes wrong.
