Terms and Conditions
When does the promotion run?
- The promotion runs from 10:00 (AEST) on 1 July 2023 and will be available for a limited time only, for as long as it is advertised on the eBay.com.au site (“Promotion Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel or extend the promotion at any time.
What is the promotion?
- Post three items with a 50% discount during the Promotion Period, with a Sendle or Australia Post postage service purchased through eBay’s labels platform.
Who is eligible for this promotion?
- You are eligible for this promotion if you have an active eBay Plus membership and have received an email invitation to participate (“Eligible Customers”).
- To access your 50% discounted label(s), you must have an active eBay Plus membership at the time you print the label(s). If your eBay Plus membership ends between the time of listing and the time you print the label(s), you will no longer be eligible for this promotion. If you sign up to an eBay Plus membership to take up this offer, standard eBay Plus terms and conditions apply.
- This promotional offer is not transferable or exchangeable.
- The promotion is linked to the eBay account under which it appears. Qualifying sellers must list using the User ID associated with that eBay account.
- Members whose eBay accounts are temporarily or indefinitely suspended, restricted, or made inactive or their seller standard falls to Below Standard prior to or during the Promotion Period are not eligible for this promotion.
What exclusions and other conditions apply?
- The promotion only applies to Sendle or Australia Post Standard postage services on eBay’s labels platform and does not include Australia Post Express services or any other postage services.
- The promotion does not apply to Australia Post’s additional options such as signature on delivery or additional liability coverage.
- The promotion does not apply to eBay selling fees including but not limited to eBay’s Insertion Fees, Final Value Fees or fees for optional features or services (including Feature Fees), international selling fees set out at eBay.com.au, as varied from time to time.
- This promotion does not apply to listings in the following excluded categories: Businesses for Sale (11759), Aircrafts (63676), Boats (26429), Caravans/Motorhomes (32633), Cars (29690), Motorcycles (32073), Trucks/Commercial Vehicles (6049), Real Estate (10542), Services (316), Flights (3253), Tickets (1305), Travel (3252) and Vouchers/Gift Certificates (172008).
- Listings that contravene eBay's policies or fail to comply with these terms and conditions are excluded.
Miscellaneous
- Sendle Terms & Conditions apply when using the Sendle postage services.
- Australia Post Terms & Conditions apply when using the Australia Post postage services
- eBay’s standard fees specified on ebay.com.au continue to apply.
- eBay may, at its discretion, offer Eligible Customers additional labels under this promotion. Additional labels provided will be governed by these terms and conditions.
- eBay’s User Agreement and other rules and policies continue to apply and are set out at: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/overview.html. Terms that are not defined in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given to them in eBay’s User Agreement.
- eBay reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time, including in circumstances where eBay reasonably considers that the promotion is being fraudulently used.
- eBay reserves the right to verify eligibility of sellers and listings to participate in this offer. Persons who violate these Terms and Conditions may not be eligible for future promotions on eBay.com.au. eBay may disallow the participation of a particular seller at any time.
- To the extent permitted by law, eBay is not liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using the discount.
- Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the offer or in relation to qualifying listings is the responsibility of the seller.
- eBay reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at its reasonable discretion by publishing revised terms on ebay.com.au.
- This promotion is offered by eBay Marketplaces GmbH.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the courts of New South Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising out of, or in connection to, these Terms and Conditions or this promotion.
