Keep my Plus benefits and receive a $30 eBay voucher

1. Acceptance. By accepting the offer in accordance with clause 4, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility. This offer is only available to Eligible Customers. “Eligible Customers” means eBay Plus members who have selected “Keep my benefits and receive a $30 voucher” within the eBay Plus cancellation flow, and have:

o moved from an eBay Plus free trial into a paid eBay Plus annual membership; OR
o renewed and paid for their eBay Plus membership for an additional year.

3. For the avoidance of doubt, eBay Plus members who:

o click “Keep my benefits and receive a $30 voucher” within the eBay Plus cancellation flow but do not continue to pay the eBay       Plus annual membership fee; OR
o subsequently cancel their eBay Plus membership and then re-subscribe for an eBay Plus membership, will not be deemed   Eligible Customers. 

4. Conditions. This offer entitles Eligible Customers to an eBay voucher valued at $30 (“Voucher”) when they click “Keep my benefits and receive a $30 voucher” within the eBay Plus cancellation flow and spend $50 or more (excluding postage costs) in one transaction during the Validity Period (“Promotion”). A limit of 1 Voucher per person applies. Multiple items may be purchased in up to one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items in the transaction).

Use of the Voucher

5. Voucher. If you satisfy the Conditions set out in clause 4 above, the Voucher will be issued to Your eBay.com.au account 14 days after a successful payment of your eBay Plus membership. For the avoidance of doubt, if you signed up to an eBay Plus 30-day free trial, you will not receive the Voucher until your eBay Plus membership renews to a paid annual membership. The Voucher is not transferable.

6. Voucher expiry. The Voucher is valid from the date of issue and will expire 30 days from the date of issue (“Validity Period”).

7. Voucher Conditions. The Voucher entitles you to $30 off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) of item(s) listed on eBay.com.au, except on the Excluded Items, when you spend $50 or more in one transaction, with up to 10 items per transaction during the Validity Period.

8. “Excluded Items” means all items listed:

9. Redemption. To redeem the Voucher, enter the code displayed in your “My eBay” page, starting with PLRE30, into the redemption code box during the checkout process. The code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon, or voucher. You can only use the code once during the Validity Period. The code is provided to you as an eBay User and the limitations on its usage apply on that basis even though you may have registered a number of different eBay User IDs.

General

10. eBay rights. Without limiting other remedies and in addition to eBay’s rights under the User Agreement, eBay reserves the right to disallow or reverse a discount or prohibit access to this offer in circumstances where eBay believes:

o   you have provided false information, conspired with others to gain an unfair advantage or have otherwise been involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this offer;
o   a sale or purchase of any item as part of this offer has not been made in good faith, including where eBay considers that the buyer and seller may be related parties (such as family members or parties sharing the same dwelling); or
o   buyers or sellers have engaged in collusive conduct or any other conduct which eBay considers unfair, fraudulent or untoward.

11. Active. You must be an eBay.com.au registered member with an active account at the time of redemption (not suspended nor made inactive by eBay).

12. Registered address. Your eBay.com.au account must have an Australian registered address to redeem this offer.

13. Shipping. Items will only be shipped to addresses within Australia.

14. Returns. If you return or seek a refund on any item purchased using the Voucher, the value of the Voucher will not be refunded to you.

15. Cancellations. If you redeem the Voucher and the transaction is subsequently cancelled, the value of the Voucher will not be refunded to you and the transaction will still be considered a redemption under clause 9.

16. No withdrawal. This offer cannot be withdrawn into your bank account and cannot be transferred.

17. Stock. Sellers are responsible for their own stock and eBay does not guarantee the availability of stock.

18. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, eBay will not be responsible for any loss incurred by you in redeeming or attempting to redeem the offer or for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of the offer.

19. Changes. eBay reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion at any time. eBay will only cancel or change the Promotion where it determines, acting reasonably, that it is necessary to do so to prevent misuse or abuse of the Promotion, or where it is necessary to do so to protect eBay’s legitimate business interests including the cost to it of providing the Promotion.

20. Monetary amounts. All monetary amounts specified in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars (AUD).

21. Jurisdiction. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state of New South Wales.
