eBay is pleased to announce that selected fees associated with selling on eBay.com.au will be reduced from October 1, 2004. Fees for subscriptions to Selling Manager & Selling Manager Pro as well as the cost of utilising picture pack in Vehicles listings will all be reduced - all other fees will remain the same.

eBay is reducing the cost of these selling tools and Vehicles listing upgrades to encourage sellers to utilise them more frequently. Selling Manager & Selling Manager Pro can assist sellers with saving large amounts of time listing and/or in the post-sales process. Picture Pack gives potential Vehicles buyers more images of the vehicle for sale and can assist in making the listing more successful. These price reductions are the result of community feedback and have been made in an effort to make some eBay Tools and Listing Upgrades more accessible.

These fee changes will be effective from 00:00:01am AEST on October 1, 2004.

Details of the changes are as follows:

• Selling Manager Currently $9.95 per month, you will now be able to subscribe to Selling Manager for FREE.  There will be no additional charge for using Selling Manager. Selling Manager is eBay’s basic sales management tool which helps reduce time spent sending e-mails to buyers, leaving feedback and re-listing items. • Selling Manager Pro The cost to subscribe to Selling Manager Pro will be reduced from AU$19.95 to $9.95 per month. The first month’s subscription will remain FREE. Selling Manager Pro is eBay’s tool to assist with high volume sellers and small businesses. It provides sellers with: • inventory management, • success statistics, • listing, e-mailing and leaving feedback in bulk • plus lots more. Current subscribers to Selling Manager Pro will be billed at $9.95 per month from October 1, 2004.  Current subscribers to Selling Manager will cease being billed for subscription from October 1, 2004.

• Vehicles Picture Pack
All Vehicles listed on eBay are encouraged to utilise the picture pack Listing Upgrade. The current price of Picture Pack is $1.50.

Picture Pack will be reduced to $0 for all Vehicles Auction andFixed Price listings. The new price applies to vehicles (only) listed in the following categories: Cars (#29690);
Motorcycles (#32073); Boats & Watercraft (#72535); Other Vehicles (#33752).

Picture Pack allows you to:
• Add up to six pictures
• Supersize all your pictures (up to 800w x 600h pixels / 11" x 8")
• Display your listing in the eBay Gallery

All other eBay fees will remain the same. All listings that are created before the fee changes and scheduled to start after the changes, will be charged at the new rates.
