Pay with PayPal

Paying for eBay items with PayPal is simple; there are two ways to complete a payment.

A. Pay from your bank account using PayPal

You can pay using your PayPal account, funded by your credit card, debit card or bank account.

1. When you're ready to proceed to the checkout, click on Pay Now.
2. eBay's checkout process will display details of the item you are buying including accepted payment methods and the total amount to be paid (including postage and packing). Review the details and click on Continue to pay for your item using PayPal.
3. Enter your email address and password and click Continue. If you have not yet added your bank account, credit card or debit card details to fund the payment, you will be asked to do so at this point. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can select to sign up at this point.
4. Click on Send Money to complete the payment.

At this point your payment is complete and the money deposited to your seller's PayPal account.

B. Pay from your PayPal account

If you have enough balance in your PayPal account, you can use this to make the payment directly.

1. Sign in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on Send Money.
3. For an eBay item, provide your eBay User ID and item number. eBay will populate the seller's email address and calculate the amount, including postage and packing.
4. Click on Send Money.

This payment goes directly to the recipient's PayPal balance. You will receive an email to let you know the payment has been sent.
