1. Your happiest eBay moment?
The first time I made a sale.
I’d bought a skirt that was reduced to $5 in the end of season clearance but then changed my mind and decided to sell it on eBay instead of keeping it. I was jumping up and down when the bidding hit $30 towards the end of the auction, I kept refreshing and got my husband over to watch the end of the auction!
I was just so excited to have sold something, never mind have made money from it.
2. What do you normally buy/sell?
Clothes and shoes for myself and my one year old son.
I love buying him things that are a little different from what you find in the shops and selling things he’s grown out of helps to raise funds for my spending.
I also sell my own children’s clothing brand, Mini Threads
3. How did you discover eBay?
I’m a huge fan of Survivor and at the end of one of their shows the host mentioned bidding on props from the show on eBay – I joined that night and was hooked.
Survivor props and new shoes all in one store, it’s like shopping heaven!
4. Most interesting item bought/sold?
I won a piece of wood used on the show Survivor in one of the challenges; it’s signed by one of the tribe members. I think it’s great, my husband thinks I was a little nutty to spend so much on a plank of wood though. I’ve since bought a couple more props from the show so I have a nice collection growing.
5. Your preferred way to pay/be paid?
PayPal, it’s so fast.
Sometimes I’ve been paid by PayPal before I’ve even sent an email to the buyer to let them know they won!
6. What's the main attraction to using PayPal?
It's so easy for selling, no worrying about giving out your bank details or trying to match up payments, as a seller PayPal does all that for you.
I can shop anytime of the day, for anything. It's also the best place to sell my own brand, I couldn't rent a shop anywhere that would give me the same number of potential customers
7. Best eBay bargain?
I won a pair of Alannah Hill “Mary Jane” shoes for $25, they had sold out in the store and the retail price was almost $400. I couldn’t believe it, I would have happily paid the $400 as they are so rare – I’m so lucky to have little feet!
8. What do you like about buying/selling on eBay?
It’s like a circle of life for my wardrobe, when something comes in, something goes back out.
I can shop anytime of the day, for anything. It’s also the best place to sell my own brand, I couldn’t rent a shop anywhere that would give me the same number of potential customers
9. If you could buy/sell anything on eBay what would it be?
I’m always looking for more pink things for the kitchen, our kitchen is slowing turning into Barbies dream house.
I dream of a pink Smeg fridge, I don’t know how popular I would be with my husband if I ever actually found one though!
10. Was there ever one that got away? (an item you wanted to buy but missed out on?)
I was bidding on a pair of pants for work when the power went out. I ended up trying to bid with the last of the laptop battery out in the driveway using the car headlights to see what I was doing. Not ideal bidding conditions and I didn’t end up winning those!

Must use Buy It Now and PayPal.
