Sell Using Want It Now
Search Want It Now posts to find buyers who want exactly what you're selling. Want It Now is also a great place to get ideas on what to sell. You can use this feature if you are either a registered seller or an eBay member with a feedback score of at least 10.
To start selling using Want It Now: Find Want It Now posts from buyers by browsing through categories or searching with keywords.
If you want to respond to a buyer, click on the Respond button at the top of the post.
Enter the item number of the listing you want the buyer to see.
The buyer will then receive an email with information about your listing.
Tips:
Your listing will be available to all eBay users, not just the buyer you respond to.
Browse through categories that you typically sell in -- you might find ideas for things to sell.
Search for Want It Now posts that may be similar to items you’re already selling. Go to My eBay and click the “Items I’m Selling” link. In the action column, click the “Search in Want It Now” link next to the item you’re interested in searching for.
If you need more details about an item, ask the buyer a question. To ensure your privacy, do not include your name or email in your communication. If the buyer answers, both your question and the answer will be displayed on the post.
Remember that the buyers are not obligated to bid on your listing when you respond to their posts.
