There are two places on the Sell Your Item form where you can insert pictures from Picture Manager. If you prefer using the eBay layouts rather than creating your own HTML, access Picture Manager from the Add Pictures section on Pictures & Details page of the Sell Your Item Form. If you are an advanced seller and want to create your own layouts and HTML in the description field on the second page of the form, a link is provided for you to easily access Picture Manager and insert your pictures in the description.
Pictures & Details page
Picture Manager appears directly under the eBay Picture Services tab in the Add Pictures section on the Pictures & Details page.
Selecting a folder and a view
To browse and choose your pictures, click the drop-down menu in the upper right corner to select the folder that contains the pictures you want to use. You can choose between the Thumbnail view (small pictures) shown above or the List view using the View links at the upper left of Picture Manager. The List view will display each picture's name, size, and upload date, and allow you to sort your pictures based on all three fields.
Inserting, removing, and ordering pictures in the listing
Click in the thumbnails or the list to check the checkboxes for the pictures you want to insert. Then, click the Insert button and the selected pictures will be inserted in the listing and display below the text "Pictures in Your Listing". The number of inserted pictures and the number open picture slots in the page layout is displayed above the inserted pictures.
To remove inserted pictures, click to check them and then click the Remove button. This removes them from the listing, but does not delete them from Picture Manager.
To rearrange the order of inserted pictures, click to check them and then click the Move Left and Move Right buttons to shift the selected pictures one slot in either direction. Pictures displaced by the pictures you move are shifted to the slots previously occupied by those pictures.
Uploading new pictures
If you have unused storage space, you can upload new pictures by clicking the Add Pictures button located on the right below your thumbnail pictures or picture list. The Picture Manager uploader will open in a window where you can choose picture files from your computer and upload copies of them to Picture Manager folders.
When uploading on the Sell Your Item form, Picture Manager limits you to uploading a number of pictures that does not exceed the maximum number you can insert in the listing, taking into account pictures already inserted. For your convenience, Pictures that are uploaded are automatically inserted after upload, but can be manually removed from the listing as described above.
If you want to upload many pictures efficiently at one time when creating multiple listings, you can use the Picture Manager uploader in My eBay before you start listing with the Sell Your Item form.
Changing your subscription level
The storage gauge in the upper right corner of Picture Manager shows how much storage space you are using and how much more you have available. To upgrade or downgrade your Picture Manager subscription level at any time while listing, simply click the "Get more storage space" link below the storage indicator. A popup window will open where you can select your new subscription level. When you close that window you'll be returned to the Sell Your Item form and any change you made to your storage space will display.
Title & Description page
You can access Picture Manager on the Title & Description page by clicking the camera icon above the description editor. A pop-up Picture Manager window will open.

Adding pictures to your description
You can add pictures to your description in two ways:
- Click to check the checkboxes for pictures you want to insert. Then, use the "Choose Picture Size" drop-down menu to select the desired size. Finally, click the Add to Description button to insert the pictures at the current cursor position in the description.
- Click to check the checkboxes for pictures you want to insert. Then, use the "Choose Picture Size" drop-down menu to select the desired size. Finally, copy-and-paste the Web addresses that display in the space below the Choose Picture Size drop-down menu into the description area.
