Entering Your Item’s Location

By entering the Postcode where the item is located, you receive extra visibility at no additional cost. Your item will be shown in buyers' search results when they sort or filter by distance from their location.

Accurately describing where you item is located can attract buyers from your local area. By indicating your correct Postcode you are telling buyers in your local area and close by states that the item they are bidding on, may in some cases, be less expensive to Post.

You'll especially benefit if you're selling large, heavy, or fragile items. eBay buyers have expressed great interest in purchasing these items locally. If you are selling a large, heavy item that can’t be easily posted, consider using the Classified Ad with Best Offer format.
