Basic listing and selling fees
Insertion fees are charged per listing. eBay gives you a number of free insertions per month.
An insertion fee applies whenever you list an item on eBay, even if it doesn't sell.
For listings with multiple items (including listings with variations), you only pay one insertion fee.
If you list your item in two categories, you'll pay two insertion fees.
Final value fee
Final value fees are charged per item sold.
A final value fee applies whenever you sell an item.
The fee is based on the final sale price of the item.
Note: From 6 May 2014, final value fees will be based on the total cost of the item to the buyer, including postage. Learn more about the fee changes.
Fee amounts depend on the selling format (auction-style, Fixed Price or Classifieds) and category (e.g. Media, Collectables, Motors) you select, as well as your Store Package, if you have one.
