Basic listing and selling fees
Insertion fees are charged per listing. eBay gives you a number of free listings each month.
An insertion fee applies whenever you list an item on eBay, even if it doesn't sell.
For listings with multiple items (including listings with variations), you only pay one insertion fee.
If you choose to list your item in a second category, you'll pay an insertion fee for the second category.
If you're a non-business seller, you can set your items to automatically relist up to three times if they don't sell, at no extra cost and without counting towards your monthly free listings.
Final value fee
Final value fees are charged per item sold.
A final value fee applies whenever you sell an item.
The fee is based on the total amount paid by the buyer (item price + postage and handling charges).
Fee amounts depend on the selling format (auction-style, Fixed Price or Classifieds) and category (e.g. Media, Collectables, Motors) you select, as well as your Store Package, if you have one.
To help estimate your fees for listing a specific item, use our fee calculator.
To help work out which Store Package might be right for you, use our fee illustrator.
Fees for optional features and services
These only apply if you select optional features for your listing (e.g. subtitle) to increase your chances of a successful sale.
Adding Buy It Now to an auction-style listing is free for sellers without an eBay Store.
Up to12 pictures per listing are free with eBay picture hosting, including zoom and enlarge features.
These monthly fees only apply if you subscribe to a selling tool such as an eBay Store or Selling Manager Pro.
Supplemental service fees
These only apply if you use supplemental services such as promoted listings or printing postage labels.

Auctions within the Collectables category are included in the monthly free listing entitlement for Stores sellers.
If you choose to manually relist an item, it will be counted towards your total listings for the month.
For example, if you list 25 items and then manually re-list 20 of them (without a Store), you'll be charged insertion fees for the last five listings.

Insertion fees are charged per listing and are non-refundable. (As with a newspaper advertisement, you pay this basic listing fee even if your item isn't sold.)
Insertion fees only apply once you've used all your free listings (or for the second category, if you choose this option on a free listing).
If you choose to list your item in two categories, you'll pay an insertion fee for the listing in the second category.
For Store subscribers, insertion fees also apply to auction-style listings.
Good 'Til Cancelled listings renew automatically every 30 days unless all of the items sell, you end the listing, or a listing violates an eBay policy. Insertion fees are charged every 30 day period.
If you set up automatic relisting for your item, you'll pay an insertion fee for the initial listing. If your item doesn't sell, it will then be relisted up to three times with no additional insertion fee and without counting towards your free listing entitlement for the month.
