Exporting from Seller's Assistant Pro
Seller's Assistant Pro users can export product and listing-related information for the items they have created in Seller's Assistant Pro directly into Selling Manager Pro.
Note: Buyers' information cannot be exported from Seller's Assistant Pro.
Exporting product and listing-related information from Seller's Assistant Pro to Selling Manager Pro can be accomplished by following these steps:
- Click on the File Menu.
- Select Export to Selling Manager Pro.
Items in Seller's Assistant Pro will be saved as new products in Selling Manager Pro. The new products will be created in one of two folders in Selling Manager Pro.
Folders
If items are linked to a group in Seller's Assistant Pro, the new products will be created in a new folder in Selling Manager Pro. The name of the new folder will be identical to the name of the group in Seller's Assistant Pro.
If items are not linked to a group in Seller's Assistant Pro, the new products will be created in a default folder in Selling Manager Pro called "SA Pro Products."
Products
The names of the newly created products in Selling Manager Pro will be the title of the items in Seller's Assistant Pro. Fields such as unit cost, Part number and Quantity on Hand in Seller's Assistant Pro will map to corresponding fields on the Product Details view for the newly created product in Selling Manager Pro.
Templates
Each of the newly created products in Selling Manager Pro will have a newly created template associated with it. The name of the template will be identical to the name of the product with which it is associated.
The templates will be in the same format as they were in Seller's Assistant Pro, with all the listing details (for example, Title, Description, Starting Price, Buy It Now Price, Duration, and so on) remaining the same. However, each item imported into Selling Manager Pro will adopt the "None" theme and layout when it is exported from Seller's Assistant Pro. Photos may also be lost during the exporting process.
Note:
If the site that was selected on Seller's Assistant Pro was not selected on the site preferences page in the Selling Manager Pro preferences it will be added automatically.
