Return Policy

Sellers are required to specify a return policy when listing an item on eBay. This is the case even if the seller's policy is to not accept returns. Specifying a clear return policy can give buyers confidence to bid or buy and prevent problems after the sale.

Indicating a return policy on your item listing benefits both you and the buyer. Even if your policy is that you do not accept returns, buyers will know this before bidding or buying. Buyers are more informed and more satisfied.

We encourage sellers to accept returns. Though only a small percentage of items are ever actually returned, letting buyers know that you are willing to accept returns gives them added confidence and is may to increase sales.
