Specifying postage costs in your listing is vital to your success—buyers want to know the total cost of the item before bidding or buying. Using calculated postage makes your listing more appealing because buyers closer to you will see lower postage costs.
You can have the postage cost calculated automatically for buyers.
From the "Cost" drop-down menu, select "Calculated: Cost varies by buyer location."
Select the postal services you want to offer.
A "calculator" link is displayed in your active listing so that potential buyers can preview the cost for their location.
If the listing ends with a sale, the cost is automatically calculated based on the buyer's address and included in the payment total when the buyer goes through the checkout process.
If you want to get an idea of how much a postage service will cost before offering it, click the "Research rates" link.
If you include a handling cost, it will be automatically added to the total postage cost but will not be shown separately to buyers.
You can also have postage insurance and postage discounts automatically included in the cost.
