Completing eBay sales is easy and fast with Bank Deposit Express. As the seller, you simply make your bank account
information available to your buyer. Once the listing ends, your buyer immediately deposits money to pay for the item.
Shortly thereafter, the money appears in your bank account, and you post the item to the buyer.
How it works
On the Payment & Postage page of the Sell Your Item form:
Select the Bank Deposit Express Payment option in the Payment Methods section.
Click on "Enter your bank account information for Bank Deposit" to access the Enter/Edit Bank
account information page.
On the Enter/Edit Bank account information page enter your bank account information.
Note: This information can be updated or removed at any time in the Preferences section of
My eBay.
Once you have entered your bank account information and a message to the buyer (optional), submit the information.

More about security
- Providing bank account information to the buyer in Checkout via Bank Deposit Express is optional. The seller can also offer Bank Deposit as a payment option without providing bank account information via eBay.
- The bank account information is transmitted via a secure connection.
- All bank account information is stored on secure servers.
- No other members besides the buyer can access the seller's bank account information via Checkout, because the buyer's eBay User ID and password are required. The buyer can view the seller's bank account information only if the seller has made this information available and has selected Bank Deposit Express as a payment option.
- Some members prefer to set up a bank account purely for eBay transactions.
