The sale of drugs and drug paraphernalia may violate state, federal and international law.
What is the policy?
The following items are not allowed to be listed on eBay:
- Narcotics, steroids and other controlled substances (including any substance listed in Schedules 2 & 3 of the Commonwealth Crimes (Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act 1990 - opens in new window or tab)
- Items that claim to provide a "legal high"
- Pipes, or any item marketed as for use with marijuana or with illegal drugs
- Any smoking accessories displaying marijuana or drug-related symbols
- Vaporizers intended to be used with alcohol, marijuana or illegal substances
Tobacco pipes, and other smoking accessories not intended for drug use, are allowed.
Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn't, eBay may take action consistent with applicable laws and the eBay User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.

Why does eBay have this policy?
To help keep our community safe, we require that eBay users comply with all federal and state laws and regulations when using eBay. Because the sale of controlled substances is illegal, we don't allow sellers to list these products.
