I can't remember my PayPal password. How do I find out what it is?

If you forget your PayPal password, you'll need to create a new one.

Note: Before you can create another PayPal password, you will need to provide certain information that only you would know. This information must match data you provided to PayPal when you set up your account.

Here's How

  1. Go to the PayPal Home page and click on the Forget your password? link.

  2. Enter your email address and click on the Submit button.

  3. Check your email, and then click on the link in the PayPal email you receive.

  4. If nothing happens when you click the link, copy and paste the Web site address into your browser window.

  5. Confirm your account ownership by completing one of the sections of the Verify Your Identity page.

  6. Click Submit.

  7. Enter your new password and new security questions and answers. Remember to choose a password that's easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.

  8. Click Submit.

At this point, you will have a new PayPal password. Use this password going forward.

Go to PayPal.
