eBay does not offer general phone support. Email and Live Help support enables us to help you resolve issues more effectively than telephone support because we can respond to your questions quickly while ensuring that our answers are reliable and consistent. We save a record of all of our communications with you - this allows us to avoid duplicate responses and we keep track of the questions that you ask. We keep your correspondence on file as a way of documenting important information that you might need to refer to later on.

Using Live Help to contact Customer Support

You'll can access Live Help from top right-hand side of the Sell Your Item page.

Clicking the “Live Help” link connects you to a private chat room, where you can ask an eBay Customer Support Representative your question—live!

Using email to contact Customer Support

• Use the "Email Us” link – This link is located at the bottom of most Help pages. Use it to send us an email when you have a question about the topic on that Help page.

• Use the “Contact Us” link – This link is located on the left side of any page in the Help system. Clicking it will take you to a page where you can choose the topic of your email. Choosing a topic helps us direct your inquiry to the representatives who can assist you quickly and accurately.
