Setting member-to-member communication preferences

Skype is communication software you can download and install on your computer. eBay members can use Skype to connect using instant messaging (chat) or voice (call) capabilities over the Internet. As a registered eBay seller, you can set your preferences for using Skype buttons on your listings. Buyers can then contact you quickly with questions about your listings.

To add Skype to your listings, you download and install the Skype application. After you create a Skype name, you can link that Skype name to your eBay account in your preferences. When you create a new listing, you can then add your Skype name to your listing.

To set your member-to-member communication preferences:
  1. On the My eBay page, click the Notification Preferences link under Account.
