Viewing and Leaving Feedback with My eBay

Feedback is a system that eBay members use to rate their buying or selling experience with another eBay member.

You can use the Feedback view in My eBay to:

Leaving feedback

You can view a list of the transactions for which you need to leave Feedback and leave Feedback for them. The Feedback view includes icons that represent the feedback status for the transaction. For example:

  • You left Feedback for this transaction.

  • You have not left Feedback for this transaction.

  • You received neutral Feedback (as a seller)

  • You received positive Feedback.

  • You received negative Feedback.(as a seller)

  • You have not received Feedback.

Important: The Feedback you post generally cannot be edited or removed, so be sure to make only fair and actual comments.

To leave Feedback:

  1. From the left column of My eBay, click the “Feedback” link under My Account. The two columns on the right of the Items Awaiting Feedback view, show the Feedback status for the transaction.

  2. To leave Feedback, click the “Leave Feedback” link. The Leave Feedback page opens.

  3. Enter the Rating and comments for your trading partner.

  4. If you were the buyer in the transaction, you can leave additional ratings for the seller.

  5. Click the Leave Feedback button.

Viewing feedback you left

You can view a history of the Feedback you’ve left for your transaction partners, and you can enter additional follow-up comments, if needed. You can leave follow-up comments one time for each Feedback comment you've left. Learn more about following up on Feedback.

Important: The response you post generally cannot be edited or removed, so be sure to make only fair and factual comments.

To view Feedback you left for other members:

  1. From My eBay, click the “Feedback” link under My Account.

  2. On the Feedback view, under Recent Feedback, click the “View all Feedback” link.

  3. Click the Feedback left for others tab.

  4. Optional: To enter additional, follow-up comments, click the “Follow-up” link next to the correct user and item number then type your comments.

Viewing Feedback you received

When you first click the “Feedback” link in My eBay, at the bottom of the page, you’ll see the last five feedback comments and scores you’ve received.

The icons in the left column indicate the Feedback you received. For example:
Indicates positive Feedback
Indicates negative Feedback
Indicates neutral Feedback

You can also view all of the Feedback you received from other members.

To view all feedback you received from other members:

  1. From My eBay, click the “Feedback” link under My Account.

  2. Optional: To view only the Feedback you received as a seller, click the Feedback as a seller tab.

  3. Optional: To view only the Feedback you received as a buyer, click the Feedback as a buyer tab.
