Losing Feedback privileges

In certain circumstances, members can lose Feedback privileges. For example, if a buyer doesn't pay for an item, it can affect Feedback privileges for that transaction.

If a buyer hasn’t paid for an item, a seller can open an unpaid item case in the Resolution Centre. After the case is opened, the buyer has up to four days to pay to reach an agreement with the seller. If the buyer doesn’t pay and doesn’t respond to the case within four days, an unpaid item is recorded on the buyer's account and the buyer won’t be able to leave Feedback for that transaction. If the buyer has already left Feedback for that transaction, it will be removed.

Feedback when buying on international eBay sites

If a buyer opens an eBay Buyer Protection case after purchasing an item on eBay.com, eBay.co.uk or eBay.de sites, and the case is later decided in the seller’s favour, any Feedback left by the buyer for that transaction will be removed.
