eBay requires payment in full each month on accounts with balances of $1.00 or greater. If your account has been suspended because your payment is overdue, you may need to make a one-time payment to bring your account up to date. You can make a one-time payment using credit card, cheque, or money order.
Note: When your account has been suspended, you may be responsible for collection costs. If this happens, you will be billed a monthly finance charge of 1.5% or the highest amount permitted by applicable law - whichever amount is lower. This fee will be charged each month on your invoice date.
When your account is suspended, eBay will send a notification to the registered email address associated with your account. This email will also appear on your “My Messages” page in “My eBay.”
Beware of impostor email. If you received an email stating your account was suspended, please confirm that the email was sent from eBay by checking My Messages in My eBay. If the email message you received is not located in My Messages, proceed with caution. Some members have reported attempts to gain access to their personal information through emails impersonating eBay. These emails are also known as "spoof" or "phishing" email. Learn how to recognise spoof mails.
The most common cause of suspension for non-payment is that the automatic payment method you have on file is outdated or has been recently declined. Once you make a one-time payment to bring your account current, you may want to consider updating your automatic payment method by going to the Choose Automatic Payment Method page.
Viewing your account status The easiest way to check the amount you owe and see the last four months of activity is to view your account status page. If your account has been suspended for some time and the activity is older than four months, you can view fees incurred over the last 18 months by clicking the “View invoices” link at the top of the Account Status page.
Paying your invoice Making a one-time payment is the fastest way to resolve your account suspension.
Click the "site map" link at the top of any eBay page.
Under “My eBay” , under the “My Selling Account” section, click the "Make a Single Payment” link.
On the "Make a Single Payment on Your eBay Seller Account" page, you will see all of your payment options.
OR, click here to pay your outstanding balance in full as a one-time payment.
Note: Some eBay accounts will be automatically reinstated when they are suspended for non-payment, and you make a one-time payment. If your account remains on hold or suspended after you have made payment, please contact us for review of the suspension.
