Displaying Your Collection By Arno Lippassaar The following information is provided to educate and inform. eBay is not liable or responsible for any type of damage or loss caused, or alleged to be caused, directly or indirectly, by the information below. Display your toy collection in an area that is not in direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of young children who may accidentally confuse your toy collection with "play" toys. Change your display every few months to make sure nothing is getting creased or faded in any areas. If the blister pack on a Hot Wheels is creased or worn, the value of the car can decrease tremendously. Dust is an enemy. Treat it as such and try to keep your toys dust-free. You may want to display your collection in glass cases to keep it protected. Do not store your toys in damp areas or places susceptible to extreme temperature changes. This can cause toys, especially metal ones, to deteriorate more quickly. You may want to keep your toys in their original packaging, if you plan to keep them as collectibles. If your toys don't come with packaging, do not remove any tags or other identifying markers. Some people even buy special tag protectors so that they can display their toys without fear of destroying the tag. |
