The eBay Community is made up of people around the world who buy and sell in the eBay marketplace every day. Whether a member is a buyer who shops on eBay for practical needs or for fun, or a seller who lists on eBay as a primary source of income - eBay becomes a part of our members' lifestyles.
Many members have created second businesses by selling items on eBay. Some have moved their brick-and-mortar businesses to eBay. Others have quit their day jobs altogether, to sell on eBay! Discussion Boards
In addition to buying and selling, exchanging email, and leaving feedback, many members also participate in eBay's various online Community forums. eBay hosts a wide variety of public forums that encourage open member-to-member education and communication.
Through the eBay discussion boards, and chat boards, members meet and form meaningful relationships with other eBay sellers and buyers. Every day, members use these forums to get help from other experienced members, share their best practices with others who are just starting out, and just socialise! News and Information
Since staying informed is an important key to success on eBay, our Community area offers several important news and educational resources to help our members get the information they need. Updated daily, the General Announcements board is the place members can go for official eBay communication on new features, category changes, policy updates, and other news. Scheduled Maintenance, as well as updates on site issues that may affect core features of the site, are posted about on the System Announcement board.
Also, The Chatter is a monthly online newsletter that is written for, and about, the eBay Community. Each month, The Chatter brings you feature stories and monthly columns that inspire, educate, and entertain. Online Workshops
Interactive online workshops hosted by staff, as well as expert members, are available to all registered members. Hosted on the Workshop Discussion board, they combine posted "lecture" information with question-and-answer sessions. Topics cover a wide range of subjects - from how to use a new feature or create a perfect listing, to understanding a particular category, like antiques or computers.
